As a Certified Third Party Program under Arizona's Competitive Government
Partnership Program, A-1 Driving School is authorized to teach in-car
drivers training, classroom instruction programs, and to administer written
and road tests for Class G and D instructional permits and driver licenses
for students enrolled in our Driver-Ed programs.
We also are licensed to conduct Traffic Survival School classes.

History

A-1 Driving School is
locally owned and has been in business since 1996. The school and its
instructors are licensed and certified. It is the only
licensed professional driving school in the Tri-City area. The
business has grown from a 1 person, 1 vehicle venture to a 3 instructor, 2
car operation. Vehicles used for in-car training are
2004
Toyota Corolla model vehicles. Each vehicle is
equipped with an extra brake pedal for student safety and comfort.
Over the years, we have conducted "on campus" Driver-Ed
programs at Tri-City Prep High School, Mayer High School, NorthPoint
Expeditionary Learning Academy and Achieve
Academy High Schools.
Additionally, we are very proud of conducting annual training programs for
the benefit of special needs students living in the tri-cities area through the West Yavapai
Transition Team network in the county schools.
